For the Essentials package, your draft home page will be ready to view within one week of me receiving all the content from you. The full build will take around two weeks then we need to allow another week for discussing and tweaking. So all up, you're looking at around four weeks. Add another 2-3 weeks for multiple additional pages and/or an online store.

Your Squarespace subscription provides you with a .com or .com.au domain name that is free for the first year and will cost around A$27 per year thereafter. If you prefer to register your domain separately, I recommend using GoDaddy as they are really affordable and super easy to integrate with Squarespace. Remember, you'll need an ABN to register a domain ending in .au.

There are so many reasons to love Squarespace. I've tried other platforms but none of them come close to Squarespace in terms of looks, functionality, security and ease of use.

• The platform is easy to use so once your site is built, you'll be able to make your own changes without the services of an expensive web designer (I'll teach you how as part of your package.)

• The interface is fresh, modern and stylish.

• Squarespace sites come with inbuilt SSL security (something you have to pay extra for on other platforms.)

• Your site will be fully mobile responsive and look fabulous across all devices which is a big bonus for SEO (Google loves a mobile responsive site!)

• Squarespace is affordable and covers everything - hosting, template, updates, maintenance and security. No need for fiddly, expensive plugins.

• Squarespace offers some fantastic functionalities you can add on such as Member Areas, Scheduling, Commerce and Email Campaigns so everything is under one umbrella.

• It’s an affordable platform with most sites costing less than $200 per year, fully hosted (with a 20% discount on your first year for all Fresh Web Design clients.)

All you have to pay is your annual Squarespace subscription which you'll do directly with Squarespace. I'll set it up for you so it will renew automatically each year and show you where your billing and invoices are in your Squarespace system so you can always access it. Because I build so many websites with Squarespace, they let me offer my clients a 20% discount on your first year which is pretty fab!

The only other thing you’ll need to pay is for your domain name each year, either through Squarespace if you've taken advantage of the first year free domain, or through your own domain register (eg. GoDaddy.)

Squarespace has an alliance with Unsplash so have a look there first. You can also try Pexels or Pixabay (just make sure you choose the free images unless you're happy to pay for paid images.)

Absolutely! I will provide you with a one hour training session either in person or via Skype or Zoom.

You'll also receive 30 days after care service from me so we can fix any niggly bits or make small tweaks. The addition of pages or features will, however, be charged as an add-on. Squarespace also provides excellent tutorials in every aspect of the website and top notch customer support.

All Squarespace sites are built for clean indexing by search engines and have the ability to add keywords in all the right Google-friendly places. But there are certain things we need to do with the design and layout for best SEO practice. I'll make sure your website ticks all the right boxes, including submitting it to Google and Bing/Yahoo for verification and indexing.

It sure will. Your visitors will be able to view your website on any device, large or small, with all the correct formatting to keep Google happy.

Yes we can embed both video and audio files into your website.

You sure can. You can also add a live Twitter feed, plus links to all your other social media accounts.
